How to Overcome Printer Stripes, Follow These 5 Easy Tips!

For those of you who have a printer, you may sometimes encounter problems when using the printer. Well, one of the problems that often arises is that there are lines in the final print. Of course the problem is very disturbing especially if it occurs at an important time.

This article will discuss tips and tutorials on How to Overcome a Striped Printer that you can do yourself at home easily and quickly. Here's more information:

1. Check Encoder

Right behind the cartridge there is a long object like mica that has a function as a sensor. The encoder plays an important role in the print results, therefore, check the encoder on the printer first.

If the Encoder is dirty, then immediately clean it with a tissue slowly and clean the dust that sticks to the Encoder. After that, continue with trying to reprint and see the results, of course it will be much better than when the Encoder is dirty.

2. Clean Cartridge

The next way to deal with striped printers is to clean the cartridges. This is of course already known to many printer users because the cartridge is very influential on the print results. Therefore, try to clean the cartridge and check whether the printer ink is clumping or not because the clumping ink is the cause of the appearance of lines on the printouts.

Try removing the cartridge and soaking the cartridge head in warm water. Make sure to only soak the head. After soaking, dry the Cartridge and reinstall it.

3. Do Head Cleaning

Head Cleaning is a tip for overcoming striped printers that can be directly accessed through the steps below:
  • Go to the Control Panel menu
  • Select Hardware and Sound
  • Then select Devices and Printers.
  • If so, continue to operate the Head Cleaning feature by selecting Cleaning / Deep Cleaning. Automatically, the laptop or PC that you use will clean the head of the printer cartridge. Of course this will smooth the flow of ink.

4. Check the Infusion Bottle

If you have a printer that uses an infusion, then first check the ink infusion bottle. It could be that the infusion does not flow properly into the cartridge, causing streaky printouts.

Therefore, make sure the ink fluid flows through the infusion bottle by pulling the end of the infusion hose and then sucking the hose using an injection until the ink reaches the end of the hose. If you have inserted the hose into the Cartridge hole again as before.

5. Replace Cartridge

If all the methods above have been done but do not work, maybe the cartridge on the printer you are using is damaged. Therefore the last solution is to replace the cartridge so that the printouts can be better and avoid streaky problems.

Those are some ways to deal with striped printers, and the five tips above you can easily try yourself at home. However, if you are still hesitant to do it yourself, then immediately take it to a special printer service place. Hopefully this information can be useful and helpful, good luck!
