The ADF on the Epson DS 60000 supports a scanning mechanism called one pass duplex, which is the ability to scan two sides of the paper in one scan. This type of ADF is included in the DADF (Duplexing Automatic Document Feeder) category.
The Epson DS 60000 has a daily duty cycle of 5000 documents, a storage capacity of 200 documents, a score of 40 ppm for single-sided scanning, a score of 80 ipm for two-sided scanning, and four CCD (Charge Coupled Device) sensors to improve text sharpness and quality. color at all resolutions supported by the Epson DS 60000.
The four advanced sensors are integrated circuits composed of capacitor circuits and are commonly used in the digital imaging world. The scan speed scores mentioned above apply to both color and monochrome scans at a resolution of 200 dpi. For scans performed at a resolution of 300 dpi, the score drops to 30 ppm (simplex) and 60 ipm (duplex).
