Epson DS-1630 Drivers Download - The Epson DS-1630 is a scanner machine that combines automatic feeding technology with Flatbed so that it can scan various types of documents with varying paper sizes. The feature set is also enhanced by the presence of the ability to perform two-sided (duplex) scanning and a daily scanning volume of 1500 documents.

The Epson DS-1630 carries a distinctive flatbed design whose body can be opened to place documents on the scanner panel. This panel can be used to handle documents whose paper is wrinkled, fragile or prone to tearing and small plastic cards.

For documents with wide paper sizes, the flatbed panel can only scan them one at a time. As for plastic cards, you can place several cards at once on a flatbed to scan them all simultaneously with the help of one of the supporting software called Presto! BizCard.
At the top of the Epson DS-1630, there is a feeder that can accommodate 50 sheets of documents. Its ADF technology makes it much more efficient than Flatbed for handling bulk document scanning.
This efficiency is also supported by the double-sided scanning feature. However, unfortunately, the scan cannot be done in one pass (single pass) so the efficiency feels less than optimal.
The Epson DS-1630 has a two-sided scan speed that is slightly faster than the scores listed on its specifications page. However, this condition only applies if the scan results are saved in image and image-based PDF formats (PDFs whose pages contain scanned images).
Document scanning time will run longer if the scan results are saved in searchable PDF format. It took more than four minutes to scan 25 documents to this format. The length of time this scan does not escape the very limited number of sensors.
