The Epson B510DN has an ink cartridge storage compartment placed on the front. The shape is a box that can be opened by pulling the lid down. Due to its forward position, cartridges can be replaced easily.
There is almost nothing strange about the box, except for the body that protrudes a few centimeters forward so that it looks hanging. The shape which at first glance resembles a bulge on the front makes the aesthetic side of the printer slightly tarnished.
Epson B510DN Features
Inside the cartridge mount and storage box, there are four available slots. If these slots are filled with original cartridges, the Epson B510DN is claimed to be able to print as many as 8000 monochrome pages and 7000 color pages.

In addition to the box, on the front of the printer there is also a control panel. It's at the top right corner. The design is simple, only in the form of a monochrome LCD screen that is so small that it can only display two lines of text.
Below the LCD screen, there are a number of buttons. Although the buttons are only given an icon without a label, the function of each button can be easily understood by users who are used to operating the printer.
For example, the right arrow key marked with a screwdriver can be used to access the printer menu. There are several menus, namely menus for checking printer status, accessing printer configuration, accessing printer maintenance options, and setting up printer connections to the network.
Electric Power Consumption Epson B510DN
The cost of electricity is an expense that is just as important to pay attention to in addition to the cost of printing per page and the cost of printer maintenance. When printing color pages, the Epson B510DN's power consumption is in the range of 27 Watts to 33 Watts. For monochrome pages, the range is 23 Watts to 29 Watts.
In the heating phase after the printer is turned on, the electricity consumption is lower, which is between 15 Watts to 21 Watts. The warm-up phase itself usually takes less than a minute.
When the printer status is in Ready mode, the electrical power required to keep the printer on is about 6 Watts. This power consumption can be reduced again by half by activating the Power Save mode.
