SpeedFan is a program to monitor voltage, fan speed and temperature on Laptops and computers. SpeedFan can even access S.M.A.R.T. info and shows the temperature of the hard disk.
Some of you must often use a computer or laptop for a very long time, whether you use it for work, study or just playing games. The longer you use the laptop, the temperature will also increase (hot). Of course, the hot temperature on your laptop that is left continuously can have bad results and can be dangerous.
A computer temperature that is too hot is certainly not a good sign, besides it will make the computer hang frequently, in the long run it will cause the computer to suffer physical damage due to fire in certain components. One of the causes of high temperatures on a computer may be due to inadequate air circulation in the CPU and prolonged use of the computer.
Actually, things like this can be easily overcome, simply by replacing/adding an exhaust fan that has a higher rotational speed (RPM). Unfortunately, this is not an easy path to implement on portable computers (laptops), or on some branded desktop computers with compact models.
The only way that can be taken is to maximize the existing facilities, namely by setting the fan to work at maximum speed, of course with the help of SpeedFan software.
