Microsoft Reminds Windows 10 1909 and 20H2 Users To Upgrade To Newer Versions

In its official documentation page, Microsoft warns users to immediately update from Windows 10 1909 and 20H2 to a newer version of Windows 10.

This is because Windows 10 20H2 support has almost reached the end of support on May 10, 2022, especially version 1909 which has officially ended on May 11, 2021 yesterday.

Reminder: End of servicing for Windows 10, version 1909, and Windows 10, version 20H2 – May 10, 2022".

"On May 10, 2022, the Home and Pro editions of Windows 10, version 20H2, and all editions of Windows 10, version 1909 will reach end of servicing. The May 2022 security update, released on May 10, is the last update available for these versions. After that date, devices running these editions will no longer receive monthly security and quality updates containing protections from the latest security threats.” Write Microsoft.

Now users are advised to upgrade to a version at least Windows 10 21H1 or to a newer one, namely to 21H2 to get increased security, better features and stability, and of course to get support that continues even longer.

Regarding this too, Microsoft has written detailed steps for upgrading Windows 10 devices to version 21H2, if your system supports it, you can also update your Windows 10 to Windows 11.

Read the details on the upgrade steps from the following Microsoft Page.
