Microsoft Edge Canary Presents Auto Save Password Option and Disable Picture in Picture Button

In the latest Microsoft Edge Canary, Microsoft has added two new options which we hope will be useful for users.

First, now in Microsoft Edge Canary there is an Auto save password option on the edge://settings/password page. Although this feature may be less useful for password manager users such as Lastpass or Bitwarden, but for users of the Edge browser default password manager, of course this will be very useful, because every account that we create the username and password will be directly stored in the Microsoft database via account we have.

Second, on Microsoft Edge Canary, we can now disable the Picture in Picture button, this option will be present on the edge://settings/content/PictureInPicture page.

When this option is disabled, in Video Frames that are open in Microsoft Edge Canary, the Picture in Picture option will not appear, but even so, the Picture in Picture option will still be present in the Context Menu.

But this feature is still buggy for now, so it is not recommended for users to change this picture in picture control setting.

“You can easily hide the button by right-clicking on it, but if for whatever reason you want to enable it again, you have to modify an internal Edge file, and messing with such files is never recommended.” Leopeva64-2 via Reddit
