After I tried Microsoft Editor, an application that functions to check Grammar and Spelling, for some time back, there are many things that I like about this application, apart from being available as Extensions in Browsers on both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome, the features it brings I really like it and I think it really helps my work as a blogger.

Now regarding Microsoft Editor, it's a good idea to do a little review about this Microsoft service, starting from what I like, and what I don't like, and I hope this review can be useful for all readers.

Quick Review: Microsoft Editor, Suitable For Bloggers

Almost every day I write on Erzedka, of course I admit that sometimes I make typos and some of the words I type don't match the EYD, now with Microsoft Editor, at least for the grammar and spelling itself, this application will automatically check whether there are typos that we write, and whether the word is in accordance with what it should be.

In the Microsoft Editor settings that I use myself (on Google Chrome) there are two languages that I use as the main benchmark, English and Indonesian, of course because both are needed to see whether the spelling I type is correct or not.

Now with the settings that I set like that, when I write an article for example, Microsoft will check whether the words I type are correct or not, for example like in the following example.

If there is an error, Microsoft Editor will mark the wrong word and when we click there will be a word option that the user might type.

How cool isn't it, interestingly, you can also set whether there are sites you want to exclude (so that Microsoft Editor is not active) or not.

Less Liked Things

There aren't many things that I don't like myself, and I tend to think that maybe there's only one thing I don't like about Microsoft Editor, which is the use of RAM which is quite large.

In my case, currently Microsoft Editor tends to consume around 50MB of RAM, and if you are a RAM user with limited capacity, of course this will burden the device's performance, right?…

Compared to the spelling checker that is included in the browser, of course Microsoft Editor takes up a lot of resources, and that's something I don't like.

However, if you have RAM with a large capacity, for example 4 GB or more with the addition of an SSD, this should not be a big problem.

Second, the Refinement feature in Microsoft Editor does not work yet, this is because Indonesian does not yet support this feature, based on the following Microsoft page.

Conclusion

For myself, who almost every day uses this application, Microsoft Editor is very useful for me to use, if you are a blogger, or often write in a browser, you must install this extension on the browser you are using. With a note that you don't really think about the RAM users who are quite large as I described above.

So what do you think about this Microsoft Editor? give your opinion and opinion in the comments column below guys. Hopefully this article is useful. Thank you.
